WELCOME

We are a 'town and gown' choir with about 90 singers including students. If you can 'hold a tune', you are most welcome to join us and enjoy the musical and social activities of the choir. It is not necessary to be able to sight read music, you do not have to audition, and we provide the scores. Just turn up at any rehearsal, or, for more information, please contact Huw Lloyd Richards or phone him at 07786-548788 (or alternatively Eric Priest, phone 01334 474975 or 01334 463709).

Rehearsals are on Friday evenings from 7.00 to 9.15 pm in the music auditorium of St Leonards School, Pends Road, St Andrews. (For directions and map see Venue for Rehearsals.) Dates of the rehearsals in the 2007/2008 season are Sept 28 - Dec 14 and Jan 11 - March 16.

Most of the choir's members are resident in St Andrews, Scotland, but some come from neighbouring towns, and students at the University of St Andrews are especially welcome.

For 2007/08 Season we have planned a highly attractive series of concerts (click here).

Our conductor Edward Caswell is one of the finest choral conductors in Scotland and we are all (new and highly experienced singers alike) finding that we are improving our singing as well as having a thoroughly enjoyable time with him.
